Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

1. Acceptance

By installing or using Statify, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Statify.

2. What Statify does

Statify reads your currently playing Spotify track and updates your Slack status with the song name, artist, and a custom emoji. No other data is read or modified.

3. Your responsibilities

4. Data and privacy

We store only the minimum data needed to operate the service. See our Privacy Policy for full details. All tokens are encrypted at rest. We do not sell your data.

5. Data deletion

You can delete all your stored data at any time directly from the Statify Home tab in Slack using the Delete My Data button. This immediately stops syncing and removes all stored tokens and configuration.

6. Service availability

Statify is provided as-is. We make no guarantees of uptime or availability. We may modify or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice.

7. Limitation of liability

Statify is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Statify after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
